This Privacy Policy explains how The Black Bird Preserve, LLC d/b/a The Reciprocity Method™ ("Company," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the Services offered under The Reciprocity Method™. By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.

This Policy applies to information collected through our websites, online Assessments and business performance evaluations, courses, and related communications. It does not apply to third-party services we do not control.

Information you provide:

  • account and contact details (name, email, and similar);

  • information you submit through our forms and requests — including the Reputation Diagnostic, waitlist, newsletter signup, and Diagnostic Call intake — such as your name, business email, company name and website, role or title, industry, and the responses you provide;

  • assessment and business performance data — operational and corporate information you submit during Assessments;

  • payment information, which is collected and processed by our third-party payment processor (we do not store full card numbers);

  • communications you send us.

Information collected automatically:

  • usage, device, and log data;

  • cookies and similar technologies, including analytics, via our website host, course platform, and analytics providers.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide and operate the Services; to generate your custom guides and metrics; to process transactions; to communicate with you; to improve and secure the Services; and to comply with legal obligations.

Marketing communications & consent. By providing your email address, you consent to receive service-related and marketing communications from The Reciprocity Method™. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such email.

4. Business Performance Data

When you participate in our online assessments and business performance evaluations, we collect specific operational and corporate data necessary to generate your custom guides and metrics. We treat this data as strictly confidential. We do not sell, trade, or rent your corporate performance data or evaluation metrics to third-party marketing entities. This data is utilized solely to deliver your customized curriculum and optimize your consulting experience.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Services:

  • Service providers / processors — our website host, course/learning platform, scheduling tool, email/CRM provider, payment processor, and analytics providers, each acting on our behalf;

  • Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Services;

  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information or business performance data to third-party marketing entities.

6. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and analytics to understand usage and improve the Services. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. Where required, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals.

Our current service providers include Squarespace (website hosting), Kajabi (course and assessment delivery, forms, and email), Acuity Scheduling (appointment booking), and Stripe (payment processing), together with the analytics features native to those platforms.

7. "Do Not Sell or Share" & Opt-Out Signals

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable state privacy laws. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) and similar recognized browser opt-out signals as valid opt-out requests.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business and legal purposes, after which we delete or de-identify it. Retention periods vary by data type and legal requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Services are designed for business and professional use.
