Terms of Sale, Refund & Cancellation Policy
The Reciprocity Method™ · The Black Bird Preserve, LLC
Effective / Last Updated: July 1, 2026
This policy is incorporated into the Terms of Service by reference. It is designed to balance merchant protection with consumer-protection laws and payment-processor rules. Governing law: United States and the State of Arizona; primary venue: Maricopa County, Arizona.
1. Course Refund Policy
Refund window: 14 calendar days from the date of purchase.
Usage condition: the purchaser must have consumed under 10% of total modules.
Revocation: account access to courses, forums, and portals terminates immediately upon refund processing.
Completion carve-out: no refunds once a certificate of completion has been generated.
2. Assessment Refund Policy
Refund window: 14 calendar days from the date of purchase.
Eligibility: only if the digital exam or assessment code has not been launched.
Immediate delivery: clicking "Start Assessment" constitutes instant consumption and waives all refund rights.
Prep exclusions: practice tests, mock exams, and test-prep questions are non-refundable.
3. Book & Physical Goods Policy
Return window: 30 calendar days from the recorded delivery date.
Condition: items must be unopened, in original packaging, pristine, and resaleable.
Shipping: the customer pays return shipping unless the item arrived physically defective.
Digital exception: e-books and audiobooks are non-refundable once the download link is accessed.
4. Subscription Renewals & Failed-Payment Terms
Cancellation deadline: subscriptions must be canceled at least 3 calendar days before the auto-renew date.
Dunning retry: failed renewals trigger automated retry attempts managed via the processor over 14 days.
Grace period: a 3-day view-only access window during an initial invoice-failure event.
Suspension: full account suspension occurs automatically after the final failed payment attempt.
Reinstatement: a $25.00 reinstatement fee is appended to the outstanding invoice; all outstanding balances plus the fee must be settled to restore access.
5. Arizona Consumer-Protection Compliance
In accordance with the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act (A.R.S. § 44-1521 et seq.), all terms, refund windows, restrictions, and conditional access-license changes are clearly and conspicuously stated. If a digital license changes materially affecting purchaser access, the seller will provide notice and a calculated straight-line prorated refund if applicable. Proof of explicit policy acceptance and logged EULA violations may be submitted to financial institutions to counter unauthorized chargeback disputes, consistent with the payment processor’s consumer terms.
6. Termination for Cause & Forfeiture
The Company may immediately terminate or suspend access to all courses, assessments, books, subscription services, and digital accounts, without prior notice, for breach of any material provision of the Terms of Service or EULA. Upon termination for cause, the purchaser forfeits all rights to a refund, credit, or reimbursement for any unused portion of purchases or remaining subscription terms.
